Information according to Art. 13 GDPR on the processing of personal data when using the Reviewer Management System
This data protection declaration informs you about the type, scope and purpose of the processing of personal data (hereinafter referred to as data) as well as your rights regarding data processing.
The Reviewer Management System is a system for organizing participation in conferences as a reviewer. Via a profile created by the user, the chair can view the user's publications on public platforms such as DBLP, Scholar and Orcid. Applications for participation in a conference and the associated profiles are visible to the user and the chair of the respective conference. Any endorsement by a third party is also only visible to the user and the chair of the respective conference. Profiles are otherwise not public. After participating in a conference as a reviewer, the chair can confirm participation via the system or highlight particularly good reviewers by using a list of tags.

Purpose of the data processing
Your personal data will be processed in order to organize your application as a conference reviewer.
Data categories
We process the following data from you:
- Email, Name, DBLP Link, Scholar URL, Orcid
- Profile information set by the applicant themselves
Legal basis for the processing
The legal basis for the processing of your personal data follows from Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a GDPR (consent to the processing of data concerning you for one or more specific purposes).
Data transfer
There is no intention to transfer your data (to a third country).
Duration of storage; deletion of personal data
In order to fulfil our contractual and legal obligations, we delete your data, unless there are legal retention periods or other legitimate interests, when the purpose for which it was collected has been fulfilled. Accounts are deleted at the user's request.
Existence of a right to information, rectification, etc.
You have the following rights with regard to the personal data concerning you: Right to information, right to rectification or erasure, right to restriction of processing, right to object to processing and the right to data portability. In addition, you have the right to complain to a data protection supervisory authority about the processing of your personal data by us if you do not agree with the handling of your data.
